We arrived in Queenstown. It was a beautiful day spent by the lake (just South of Queenstown, where it was quiet and with pretty much no one around), relaxing, sleeping, collecting stones, soaking up the sun.
Before getting to Queenstown we stopped by Arrow Town - a small, cute, a bit touristy village. A bit too touristy for my taste, but it was such a beautiful day, the sun was out, and we found a great cafe just off the main tourist strip. It was an old house turned into a cafe + art gallery with tables to sit outside in the garden, mountains in the background. If you're ever in Arrow Town definitely go there! Coffee and scones in the sun - perfect.
