Relaxing and Tropical Dream Vibes at Boho Bingin Beach
I spent my last two night in Bali at Boho Bingin Beach. Boho has such a nice, relaxed, light and calm vibe. Maybe not such a big surprise, seeing it’s only a few minutes walk from one of Bali’s most beautiful and secluded beaches. I picked Boho at Bingin beach exactly for that reason - as I was researching beautiful, less well-known beaches in Bali I came across Bingin, and Boho looked like the perfect boutique hotel in the area. (They also have Boho Hills Dreamland and Boho Hills in Canggu opening soon).
The double pool and pink chair covers create a beautiful colour palette with all the greenery around, and pink and red flowers in the background. Lots of places and space to chill. Now just add a cocktail and it makes for the picture perfect holiday scene. Just what you always imagine a pool holiday in Bali to look like.
The number one thing that really stuck out to me about Boho was the personal atmosphere and how helpful the staff was. The team here really go to great lengths to deliver not only what you expect or ask for, but to overdeliver! They go above and beyond to make your stay is enjoyable and relaxing.
Fran, one of the managers, gave me a tour and explained all the different parts of Boho to me when I first arrived. He had great recommendations regarding beaches, where to eat at that’s not too commercial or touristy, he took me to all the atms in the closeby village on his scooter, and then helped me get cash out at the hotel when none of the atms worked.
Boho also send out emails with recommendations and special tips before and during your stay. To top off the great hospitality, I was able to stay in and use my room for one more day even after checkout, till I headed off to the airport late at night.
I had a great last day in Bali at Boho. It started off with pancakes and fresh fruit for breakfast, then heading to Thomas beach with a new friend I met at Hideout for a swim (because, as I found out rather painfully, Bingin beach isn’t the greatest place to swim), and chilling on one of the daybeds at Boho. I also went for a last swim in the pool before taking some time to do a little personal spa and finally relaxing under the tree by the pool, with one of my favourite books ever (Harry Potter) and a perfect, fresh and cold mixed fruit juice in hand. I had been carrying around my book for three weeks by then and only on that last afternoon in Bali did I finally get around to reading and fully relaxing for once.
Thank you Boho for allowing me to switch off for a bit, and for providing the calm and hospitality to do so. Thank you for being so relaxing, down to earth, and providing such a welcoming, relaxing, laissez-faire atmosphere.
