A Road Trip to Sweden and Norway / Sweden Day 2
I spent just over two weeks road tripping through Sweden and Norway with my dad and mum (who joined for the second part) in late summer/early autumn. Scandinavia has always been one of my favourite parts in the world. I’ve spent summers in Sweden as a child, so going back now brought back some beautiful childhood memories. I love the Swedish woods, the cute colourful wooden houses, the lakes, the mellow atmosphere and sense of air.
It was my first time in Norway. I visited without any expectations at all, and was blown away, even just by the small part that we saw. I’ll note which places we visited and stopped at in each post. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos, get inspired to plan your own trip to Scandinavia, and discover some beautiful places of your own.
This is part five of our trip, arriving in Bolmen (we used to spend our summer holidays in this beautiful, little village by the lake) and visiting Ljungby (the nearest town to Bolmen) where we had delicious kanelbullar and kardemummabullar
As you can tell from the photos, I’m obsessed with Bolmen and its beauty. Especially with the tiny red house across the lake.
