A Road Trip to Sweden and Norway / Norway Day 2
I spent just over two weeks road tripping through Sweden and Norway with my dad and mum (who joined for the second part) in late summer/early autumn. Scandinavia has always been one of my favourite parts in the world. I’ve spent summers in Sweden as a child, so going back now brought back some beautiful childhood memories. I love the Swedish woods, the cute colourful wooden houses, the lakes, the mellow atmosphere and sense of air.
It was my first time in Norway. I visited without any expectations at all, and was blown away, even just by the small part that we saw. I’ll note which places we visited and stopped at in each post. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos, get inspired to plan your own trip to Scandinavia, and discover some beautiful places of your own.
The second day in Norway we spent in Bergen. It was mostly raining, yet still beautiful. The sun came out for literally 20 seconds (I know it wasn’t any longer, because by the time I had my camera ready the rainbow that showed up had disappeared again). We had tea/coffee and waffles at a crazy cafe called Bar Barista, bought delicious organic bread and visited another design store, at which I found and bought one of my favourite cups (the same ones they had at this little cafe in Sweden). Made me happy.
