A Road Trip to Sweden and Norway / Sweden Day 5
I spent just over two weeks road tripping through Sweden and Norway with my dad and mum (who joined for the second part) in late summer/early autumn. Scandinavia has always been one of my favourite parts in the world. I’ve spent summers in Sweden as a child, so going back now brought back some beautiful childhood memories. I love the Swedish woods, the cute colourful wooden houses, the lakes, the mellow atmosphere and sense of air.
It was my first time in Norway. I visited without any expectations at all, and was blown away, even just by the small part that we saw. I’ll note which places we visited and stopped at in each post. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos, get inspired to plan your own trip to Scandinavia, and discover some beautiful places of your own.
Day five in Sweden we spent in Gothenburg, exploring this beautiful city and having the very best kanelbullar at Cafe 8586 in the trendy Haga district. (We didn’t end up trying the massive ones at Cafe Husaren across the road, but I’m convinced that the ones we had at Cafe 8586 were AT LEAST as good).
