A Road Trip to Sweden and Norway / Sweden Day 6 + 7
I spent just over two weeks road tripping through Sweden and Norway with my dad and mum (who joined for the second part) in late summer/early autumn. Scandinavia has always been one of my favourite parts in the world. I’ve spent summers in Sweden as a child, so going back now brought back some beautiful childhood memories. I love the Swedish woods, the cute colourful wooden houses, the lakes, the mellow atmosphere and sense of air.
It was my first time in Norway. I visited without any expectations at all, and was blown away, even just by the small part that we saw. I’ll note which places we visited and stopped at in each post. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos, get inspired to plan your own trip to Scandinavia, and discover some beautiful places of your own.
We stayed in Gothenburg for a few more nights after we picked up my mum from the airport, explored a bit more, visited a whole lot of design shops, and admired beautiful doors. Then we allowed ourselves a couple of days to relax at our little Airbnb in the woods, went for forest walks and got lost finding the hidden lake in the woods, ate plenty more of kanelbullar, drank coffee, and relaxed.
