A Road Trip to Sweden and Norway / Norway Day 5
I spent just over two weeks road tripping through Sweden and Norway with my dad and mum (who joined for the second part) in late summer/early autumn. Scandinavia has always been one of my favourite parts in the world. I’ve spent summers in Sweden as a child, so going back now brought back some beautiful childhood memories. I love the Swedish woods, the cute colourful wooden houses, the lakes, the mellow atmosphere and sense of air.
It was my first time in Norway. I visited without any expectations at all, and was blown away, even just by the small part that we saw. I’ll note which places we visited and stopped at in each post. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos, get inspired to plan your own trip to Scandinavia, and discover some beautiful places of your own.
We spent the last couple of nights in Oslo at an amazing Airbnb run and set up by a mosaic artist and a builder. The couple put so much thought and love into it, you could really tell by the attention to detail and the little extra touches. It was the perfect place to finish our travels at before jumping on a place back to Melbourne. Norway was absolutely fantastic, one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to on this earth!
